GRAFTON

Sadly we left Maclean this morning. We had a great time there... very relaxing with nice neighbours.

So we are now at the Greyhound Racing club....@ $23 a night.
And the bonus is.... thereโ€™s a fund raiser for the farmers, and all proceeds go towards the drought relief out west.... being that we are camped in here.... we donโ€™t pay entrance fee.... but Iโ€™m sure Ed will be donating a few bob on each race ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ’ต๐Ÿ’ฐ๐Ÿ’ธ๐Ÿ’ธ๐Ÿ’ธ

Edit:   Which he did!!๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Itโ€™s a great spot.... so tomorrow we will go exploring.

So weโ€™ve been here a couple of days now and the weather hasnโ€™t been too great to go off exploring....but we did go into the city for a look at all the very old shops and buildings.

Thereโ€™s a population of 17 thousand here in Grafton... and while itโ€™s a nice town... itโ€™s too big for us... we feel more comfortable in the smaller country towns.

Grafton does have a festival next month when all the Jacaranda trees flower.
This isnโ€™t my photo, as they are not in flower yet, but, itโ€™s a spectacular sight when they are!!

So pretty!!๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ
