CAVENDISH

LTravelling again....having decided not to visit the Grampians, we headed to Horsham and down the back of the Grampians. We hadn't been this way, so it was all knew to us.

It was nice to once again see the greeness of the countryside.

Driving  through the Grampians National Park was a bit like doggems.....dodging the Kangaroos, the Emus, and the birds! Unfortunately I hit a huge bloody crow....it got stuck on the bumper bar...then it felt like everything happened in slow motion...the bird started sliding up the bonnet of the car.....then....the rotten thing SLID UP the window...and I was just praying that it wouldn't get its wings caught on the windscreen wipers...luckily it didn't...and then over the top of the car and off the back!

Crows can be quite big...so when it started sliding up the windscreen...spread out...it was a bit scary to say the least!

We were glad to get through that National Park!!

We finally got to a small town called Cavendish and found a nice little campground that had power and water and decided to stay the night and move on in the morning towards Coleraine.
