REFECTIONS

We left Point Lonsdale early Thursday morning.
It was still dark so stopped for coffee and breakfast and waited till it got light enough to drive safely.

I drove away from Geelong knowing that I wouldn’t return again. There were lots of mixed emotions, but knowing that we said goodbye to Mum & Dad and sent them on their journey, was a good feeling.

The drive home wasn’t great because of the thick fog. It was slow going until it lifted.

Somehow we ended up taking a different road home which was really nice. We stopped at a small town that was really pretty, but sadly it looked like everyone had left.
We had some lunch that I had made before we left, a coffee and a walk around then drove home.

Now we are back home, we’ve had lots of time to chat as there are big decisions to make.

We have no more responsibilities now. It’s just the two of us.
We can’t wait to go travelling again. We have now decided to sell everything, go back into our new caravan and when these borders open up and both of us have had our injections, we can get going.

We are excited to move on. Back to the beautiful ocean.
