BEACHMERE QLD

We are staying in this small but nice caravan park for 4 nights. It’s run by the council and they charge $33 a night for power and water and lovely clean amenities. 

There’s a few small shops, butcher, a small general store, coffee shop, doctors etc. 

There’s a local BowlsClub, mobile Library, and lovely kept parks and activities for the local kids. 

Further down the road within walking distance is a lovely IGA supermarket, where you get the best Apple Turnovers (which we may have tried…again) 

and you can also buy your  Tattslotto in there ! Never come across that before.

The Corallas are plentiful as there’s plenty of pine cones for them. 

And Water tower Art….

Moreton Bay…

And if you squint hard enough, you can just see on the horizon, the town of Scarborough …….where we just come from…….so we have come right around the bay. 

The weather is still warm…..but very windy as you can see by the white caps.

Ed has been busy and done a bit of maintenance on the caravan while we’ve been here and replaced all the plastic water pipes underneath, so we now have clean pipes!! 🤣🤣🤣……which is always a good thing 😉☺️😂

On Sunday when it’s time to leave, we are heading inland for a while as it’s always good to get off the busy highways and away from the coast.

We love the easiness, peace and quiet of travelling inland and we've been on the Tweed and Sunshine Coasts for a while now, so some rolling hills and greenery will be welcomed. 

It’s all about balance. ❤️
