DAY 5

We didn’t do much today.....well I say that... but not the usual holiday things as ‘The Bowler’ ( that’s Ed for those that don’t know Ed plays lawn bowls) had bowls commitments that were suppose to be finished by the time we went away!!!!🤦‍♀️

Luckily we are were only 100klm away ( about an hour) from where he was bowling. 

It meant that we had to go back down our busy highway .....go around the outskirts of Brisbane... and back towards Surfers Paradise!!

Being that it was a Sunday.... usually every man and their surfboard...takes that road from Brisbane down to the our lovely beaches for the day.  It was a beautiful day as well... so we left at 6 am...to beat the traffic!

So ‘the bowler’ won his quarter final... which means... we have to make the trek back down that highway again next Saturday arvo... and if he wins that... back again on Sunday morning....oh the things we do for love 🤦‍♀️

After that... bowling competitions will be banned!!!! 😂😂👍👍
