PREMER

We travelled a whole 52 Klm s this morning to a small town called Premer.

In 2006, Premer had a population of 224 people....and in 2016 declined to only 84 people.

The railway station line is no more...

And walking up the Main Street....a couple of houses there but most look deserted..

This poor house didnโ€™t survive a fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ
(Amazing how the chimney still stands)

And it looks as if, luckily, there was only one casualty ..... bottom left corner ๐Ÿ™ nearly made it to the gate .....๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Further down the street.... we came across a house and shed where the owner makes things from other peoples junk...

Check out the shed....

We are the only ones here, but we have power and water and the ask for a donation
And there is a small post office that I think sells just a few necessities for the locals.

Sad really to see these towns disappear as I suppose it will one day.

You can tell we have left the hunter region behind with its ๐Ÿ’ต๐Ÿ’ต and expensive ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ
And grapes ๐Ÿ‡ & ๐Ÿท๐Ÿท๐Ÿท
Tomorrow I think we move on and try to dodge the rain ๐ŸŒง ๐ŸŒงโšก๏ธโšก๏ธ๐Ÿ’ฆโ˜”๏ธ๐Ÿ’ง

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHELLE
