POINT TURTON

We made it!  It was a bit of a drive...but so worth it!

What a beautiful day Point Turton has put on for us.

When I rang to book a site at this park, the lady said that they were booked out but she had one very small site left that we might be able to squeeze on to!

I thought well we really want to be there ....so agreed to take it....and for $210 @ week....bargain.

Well when we got here today....the lovely lady had jiggled a few sites and gave us this one....a waterfront site!

Wow how nice of her to do that....what a lovely view we have!

It’s a lovely caravan park. The owners are lovely, the amenities are spotless...the camp kitchen is great...and the other travellers here are just all so friendly. It’s a fishing meca...so everyone comes here for the love of fishing. 

And swimming...

These two stingrays live here and come after the little bits of fish that people feed them when they clean their fish that’s been caught. Apparently they are harmless as we’ve seen adults and kids swimming today. 

So now we are all set up...we can sit back and relax for the next week.
