DURONG

We have left our lovely spot at Wondai and have turned off the Bunya Highway and headed inland towards Chinchilla.

We’ve found this little town of Durong. I call it a town, but it’s more of a little rural locality with a population of 220 people. 

You can stay by the side of this little hall.

We are all by ourselves which is nice. Up the road is a petrol station/cafe.

With Bottle Trees out the front.

And a lovely view of the farms out the back. It’s so quiet. 

So this will do for the night as we head towards Chinchilla. We are not in a hurry to get there. It’s just so nice to be out into the country.
