JERRYS PLAINS
We have set up camp at this great spot..again...we were here this time and loved it so much, we decided to revisit.
There’s not much in the “town” ....a petrol station, police station, that I’ve never seen manned, a pub that looks like someone has thrown open the door to their house and called it a tavern, a gorgeous little school and a huge vet.
And this campground. It includes the local tennis courts, the cricket nets for practice, a playground and an old fridge that serves as a book exchange!
Our van is down the back on the left.....since this photo was taken...there have been a few more people in caravans and motor homes join us.
It’s spotlessly clean....and they just ask for a donation.
The school which first opened in 1879...
We are just staying the night...heading off for the beautiful drive through the Hunter Valley where all the rich people live including the thoroughbred horses that are owned by the overseas shieks....drool time tomorrow looking at all the lovely homes and property.
