GRAFTON
Sadly we left Maclean this morning. We had a great time there... very relaxing with nice neighbours.
So we are now at the Greyhound Racing club....@ $23 a night.
And the bonus is.... thereโs a fund raiser for the farmers, and all proceeds go towards the drought relief out west.... being that we are camped in here.... we donโt pay entrance fee.... but Iโm sure Ed will be donating a few bob on each race ๐๐ต๐ฐ๐ธ๐ธ๐ธ
Edit: Which he did!!๐๐
Itโs a great spot.... so tomorrow we will go exploring.
So weโve been here a couple of days now and the weather hasnโt been too great to go off exploring....but we did go into the city for a look at all the very old shops and buildings.
Thereโs a population of 17 thousand here in Grafton... and while itโs a nice town... itโs too big for us... we feel more comfortable in the smaller country towns.
Grafton does have a festival next month when all the Jacaranda trees flower.
This isnโt my photo, as they are not in flower yet, but, itโs a spectacular sight when they are!!
So pretty!!๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
