HALLIDAYS POINT

We weren’t going to go out today as being Sunday, it can get really crowded along the coast.

But we were pleasantly surprised as it wasn’t. Probably because of the Tsunami warning we had along the east coast. 🙄🙄

So we have done Crowdy Head, Harrington, Manning Point, (Old Bar, Saltwater & Wallabi Point….our favourites)since being here…… and today we went to Red Head and Hallidays Point.

This warning sign was because of the Tsunami……and was at Red Head….these next photos are of Hallidays Point.

Many years ago, we used to do “House Sitting”

It was a way of getting out of our caravan and in to a house for a break.
We would look after peoples houses and animals while they would take a holiday, knowing their animals and houses were getting looked after.

We really enjoyed it.
Back in 2010, we accepted a house sit at Hallidays Point, for 3 months.
I had just had major surgery so we thought it would be a good idea for me to be in a house rather than the caravan.
We only had a cat to look after and that was Ed’s job as I hate cats…the only thing Ed wouldn’t do was clean out the cat tray where it did it’s business……(I’m sure it 💩💩💩more often than needed) ….because the damn thing knew I wasn’t keen on it 😾😾😾 and wouldn’t leave me alone 😂😂 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛…….could also have been we kept a spray bottle and squirted the beast every time it jumped up on the benches as well ???🤔🤔 🤫🤫🤫🤫 😂😂

Anyway we really enjoyed our time there (not sure the cat did )and we did a lot of exploring back then as well.
This time…..we could not recognise any of it.
It has grown so much…as beachside property opens up more and more.
We just remembered it as a very small “bush meets the sea” kind of place.

We didn’t even recognise the swimming enclosure.
There’s a few more beaches to check out and then we will explore inland.

Decided to stay here another week. Loving this area ……..
and our address 😉

 Stay safe everyone ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
