Today, Friday, we left our last stopover and stopped for breakfast at a little town called Urunga where we found a great spot down on the river next to a boat ramp.

It was a bit damp because of all the rain we have had but the water was like glass. There were a few people fishing, but not much action!

We are now stopped at a place called Wingham for the night. Will post more tomorrow as we are staying a few days so will have more to tell and more photos to attach.

After leaving Ballina, we headed off and stopped for lunch at a small place called New Italy. It has a little museum to honour those people that made their home many years ago in the area that had come from Italy.
Its a lovely stopover with some really interesting tales about the families from long ago and the struggles they endured.

So after lunch we continue on, and the heavens opened up and we went through another storm!
It seems we are having lots of storms right along the NSW coast. 

 We ended up pulling into a stop just off the highway. There was a road house across the road with showers, so we paid our $2.00 and were rewarded with a lovely hot shower, well i was at least, poor Ed had to put up with just a dribble of water coming out of his shower!!

There were a few other campers with us, but through the night, because there was a road house just over the highway, we were bombarded with trucks all night. They would come hurtling in, go over the road for a shower and something to eat, then take off again at break neck speed. 
So needless to say.....not much sleep was had.
