WONGA BEACH

At Wonga Beach caravan park for 4 days so we can explore the Daintree & Port Douglas. 

The park is small, quirky and right on the beach. The people that come up here stay for about 7 months of the year as the fishing is good. You need a boat to fish the waters as the crocs lurk from the shore. 

The caretakers are a lovely couple and make you so welcome. 

They supply you with mats and heavy netting as nuts drop from the tree and can damage your car. 

Not very elegant but does the trick!

And this lovely lady lives over the road in a house......just not sure who..or what..she’s waiting for!!!!!

Aussie humour.... can get away with anything. 

It could be their mail box... just not sure where they stick the mail.
