SOFALA TO BLAYNEY

We did our last walk around Sofala early this morning before leaving and came across a very old cemetery. Reading headstones you really get the sense how hard times were back then...

And this was the old school and convent in the 1800’s

And beautiful wattle....

Found this tiny little caravan....

So then on to Blaney....the road was really hilly and quite steep in places but the views....they were beautiful.
We went through paddocks that didn’t have a blade of grass....and then went through lovely green paddocks where it snows in the winter.....then came across paddocks of sun gold Canola....

We arrived at Blayney, and had a walk through the small, but pretty town.

Sorry.....I do have a “thing” for old homes...

And now we are at Cowra...a bigger town, with a population of 7000... which is big for us but there’s a few things to see in the town...so I’m told!
So we are now at the Showgrounds here....and it’s suppose to rain all day tomorrow so it might be just a lazy day in the van having a cook up...
Watch this space :)
