OLD BAR BEACH NSW

Old Bar is a coastal town around 16 km from where we are staying.

It’s a lovely spot as it’s not as busy and commercialised as most of the beaches are at this time of the year, so it was a lovely surprise to find this spot.
Its described as “a sleepy coastal town with a laidback surfer vibe”……..
And that’s exactly how it felt.

And that’s just what we found looking north up the coast. Do you know how good that felt looking along that beach after over two years of not going anywhere, and trying to avoid people each time you went out to the shops etc….

We took a deep breath and felt so much better. All we thought about was the beach, waves and the solitude.

Sand between the toes….perfection😉

We had the best time. ❤️

Take care everyone xxx❤️❤️

TAREE SHOWGROUNDS.

We have a really nice set up at the Showgrounds. The grass is lovely and green and they keep the place immaculate.

We have a lovely view without anyone near us.

The cattle sheds before in 1924

And now….2022

It’s massive..

Tea rooms which are only open when there’s shows and different events on….much to Ed’s disgust as he was fanging for a coffee….and cake  🤣🤣🍰🙄

This huge place belongs to the Rotary Book Club. I thought it was just an old empty building, but a peek in the window revealed books from ceiling to floor…..I’ve never seen so many books in one place, along with piles of old board games.
I could have got lost in there for days…😉

So this is our lovely home for a week or so, and there are a few beaches and places to explore.

One of those beaches was Old Bar. (Next Post….internet is a tad slow)

Take care everyone xxxx🥰🥰🥰
