This morning we woke up to a beautiful morning. It had rained a bit over night, but the sun was shining and even the kangaroos where out munching on the wet grass. Its unfortunate they were just too far away for my camera, but they wouldnt come any closer!

They were way over on the front lawn of this house. (I must get a better camera!!

We both had a good nights sleep, and it must of been good as we didnt hear any trucks pull in through the night, and i know there was none there when we went to bed, but we woke up to these......

and there were more beside, and behind us!!!!!!!

I have taken a photo of our shower tent which we used for the first time last night. Now if you have never seen one, they are a great idea as they give you lots of privacy....                                                                           

 

They come in a bag like this, and they are spring loaded, so once you get it out of the bag.....it looks like this ...

We warm up some water, and we also have a shower pump that is connected to a battery, and you get a lovely warm shower. They really are good for camping.                                                                                

Now thats all good and well, but in the morning, when its time to get that shower tent back in its bag.....that is when the fun stops. We really needed our son Mark with us because he is a wizz at getting them back into that small bag.                                                                                      We tried every which way as there is a knack to it, (the instructions looked easy enough) you have to bend the shower tent and then cross your left hand over your right.......or was it right over left??????

We tried, and we tried, then both of us nearly peed ourselves laughing as we had visions of this bloody shower tent hanging out of the car windows because we couldnt get it back in the bag!!

I said i would have one last go at it, and if it didnt work this time, it would be left standing where it was.........and guess what....i did it.

I dont know how i did it, but we quickly shoved that thing that had a life of its own, back in the bag, zipped it up, and threw it in the boot of the car!!!!

So after an hour wasted there.....we headed off for more exciting travels.

(Not sure if that shower tent will make another appearance !!)
