TAREE SHOWGROUNDS

We are enjoying this place so much we don’t want to leave….so we are staying put for a while. 

We actually ran into a person here we know from our stays at Boyd’s Bay as he is a regular there as well. 

He volunteers here at the Showgrounds while staying in his van. He does have a home in Sydney, but since losing his wife 😢…he prefers his caravan and travelling, and that alone, reminds us that we have to make the most of every minute and to travel as often as we can…while we can. 🥰

So here are a few photos of the different beaches we find that are tucked away along the coast that are not full of crowds.

And we also found a lookout that had such a beautiful view of the Manning River 

With the Hinterland in the background. 

These photos don’t do any justice to these stunning places we visit. 

I just wish you were all here  with us to experience how beautiful this country really is. 

I know we are all  in horrible times now….(and I’m often told it will get better) but we can’t even imagine that at the moment…but…….

Being out in nature though,  really makes you appreciate your surrounds and the good things we DO have. 

Especially when you’re standing on a cliff top….looking out to an endless ocean all by yourself…..or in the middle of a State Forrest and you’re looking at trees over hundreds of years old…..(even when it’s raining 😊)….and there’s complete silence…but for the birdsong…..

Nature has a way of putting things in perspective.

It’s very calming. 

We did a spectacular walk through the bush yesterday and came upon a lookout to the sea and all the rocks below. From there, when it’s their season, you can spot whales go past. 

I wasn’t able to take photos of it….(didn’t bring the camera 🙄)…but we will return there that’s for sure….. and show you.

****its 8.30pm and we’ve just had a storm go through. 

Nature at its best with such a beautiful light show with sound effects ….and the rain just to wash away the dust and make everything fresh and clean again

And then this sunset …..take a deep breath and smell that freshness. ❤️❤️
