(Backup) MAITLAND

Left Dungog this morning and the rain didn’t stop. Shame really as the drive was lovely and we went through some pretty townships that we would have loved to stopped at and walk around. 

Well Maitland is a big town, over 400 thousand people..... so it’s not our kind of town... too big... but we have found another showground (with bloody swooping magpies)

Poor Ed got swooped twice.. so I’ve been hiding in the van...damn viscous buggers!!

We are just here for two days while we stock up with food and fuel then head off across the New England Highway.
