WINTER

I had forgotten what a Winter was like.

Living in a warm climate for so many years….sometimes when it’s really so  humid…..humid enough that you feel you can’t breathe that thick humidity into your lungs…..or that humid, you leak from every imaginable pore in your body.

I used to imagine what it would be like to go for a stroll with a fresh, crisp winters breeze on my face…rosy cheeks…..I even used to long for it at times….

It’s bullshit! I think I had heatstroke!

Now I’ve experienced that imaginary fantasy world for real…..I never want to experience that “fantasy” again. 

And all Kudos goes out to you all that live in that cold climate ❤️

(I can not even imagine how cold that would be not knowing what snow even feels like….so excuse my ignorance. 🤪🤪🥶)

At what point did you think you could live down South?

You were born in Summer!

Why did you not listen when people asked “Are you sure you can live there,

You love the heat, love the beach, love the sun on your face”

Frozen brain cells maybe?🥶

I hate the cold.

My poor body hates the cold, it moans every morning when I get out of bed as it tells me so. 

I cannot get in to bed without the electric blanket smoking

hot and without wooly socks on. 

Sometimes I just cannot move…..at all. 

Yes I’m a sook…..a very big sook. 

I’m just not a winter person…..

So in 4 days time….and I’m counting every freezing bloody minute…it’s Spring. 

So I’m expecting warm days, warm breezes, and blue skies….please ….🌞🌞🌞🌞🌝🌝🌝

I’m so white I glow in the dark!…...I need that sun on my skin.

Never again.  I don’t do Winters. 🥶🥶🥶 

I’m done. Piss off winter….and piss off Covid so we can get in our van and find a warm place….🤪🤪🤪😉😉🌞🌞🌞🌞
