NYAH

We left lovely Cohuna and stopped for a couple of days at Nyah....staying at the trotting track...another great freebie!

Nyah for Ed & I and the kids, was a such a special time in our lives with the family. 

Back about 30 years ago or so, we used to have trotters...and when we lived in Mildura, the horses used to race here.

Normandy Boy, one of our trotters,  won horse of the year here....so little did we know that 30 years later...we would be back in our caravan, camping near the finishing line where we used to cheer on our horses!!!

And so did the kids.....great times....

Great memories.....the beautiful Murray River runs behind the track....so a walk along the banks was so peacefully quiet...

We are now on our way to Mildura to catch up with family....we left Mildura 30 years ago to live up North....so we are expecting a few changes.

We are about 50 klm from Mildura ......Monak....in a campspot all by ourselves in the bush....such a lovely sunset....
