WARIALDA & COOLATAI HALL

Left our spot @ Delungra showgrounds after doing some washing, filling the caravan tanks & drinking water containers.
The water there came from Inverell so it was good water but we still put it through a filter.
Our Drinking water is always filtered and I also add ‘Water Pure’ to both caravan tanks & drinking water as it’s better to be safe. Sometimes it can be bore water, but the ‘water pure’ can make river water.... pure!!!

And.... you can wash your fruit 🍇🍉🍐🍏& veg 🥦🥔🥕🌽🌶 with it and it kills all the pesticide and keeps your produce fresher for longer.......shit I sound like a commercial!!!
But it’s good to have!! You never know out bush what’s crapping in your water 🐄🐁🐘🦒🦏🐫🐑🐖 🦆🦆🙈🙊💩💩💩💩

So... we stopped somewhere for a coffee..

And then stopped at Warialda for a look and a little bit of shopping.

What a sweet town it was...only small ... but the westpac helicopter was landing so there was a small bush hospital.

Check out the picture on the local vets ...

Pmsl 😂😂😂🐄

And more photos of the older buildings..

They were both built in the late 1800’s...unfortunately as it’s Sunday, the tea shop wasn’t open 🤦‍♀️

Anyway on we went as it was past lunch time and Ed was hungry 😋 surprise surprise.... and we are now camped at another ‘donation please’
place called .....,

It looks a bit dry in this photo but it’s lovely and green where we are parked. In that hall are lovely clean loos 🚽🚽 and lovely hot showers 🚿

That’s us .... the sky has just opened up and rain is coming down, lightly though so we can’t get out to explore the little town so will take a few more photos when I can....

I don’t think I have much internet connection so will put this in ‘draft’ and publish when we get better connection!

*****it posted!!!!  Must have had better connection than I thought *****

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ We went for a walk once the rain had stopped but there wasn’t much to see...

That’s us down the bottom of the hill we climbed (I don’t think we’ve been to a town that’s been flat yet🤦‍♀️😉)

There’s been lots of cattle 🐄 on the roads we’ve travelled and had to stop for as they are moving them to try to find better feed...poor things!

Apparently.....so the story goes....Coolatai was the place where there was a sighting of the black panther!
A young boy was out riding his horse one day when it was spooked by a panther.
Some say it escaped from a circus, some say it was bought over by Americans as a mascot......I didn’t see the bloody thing!!!!
.....all I’ve seen are dead kangaroos....

But I did come across this random piece while out walking in a field......

They even remembered Tassie!!!
Nothing else around it anywhere. 🇦🇺🇦🇺

Ed found ‘another’ friend that was at the back of our caravan....needless to say I have no carrots 🥕 left in the fridge 😂

So that’s all from Coolatai 😀🐴🐴
