DAY 3
It was quite warm today... it reached 30 degrees....a nice change.
All of the 15 vans left today...all accept two girls that have been sleeping in their 4wd for the last 3 days.
We met some great people...we had a couple in their 70s next to us in a bus/motorhome that live 6 months in that and tour..then they have a houseboat on the Murray River that they live full time in for the other 6 months... great life!
This is our freebie.... that’s us down on the right.
The BBQ area....
Where Ed buckets all our water from so we can have showers everyday 💪💪 it’s quite a walk...
It’s a long weekend so we are staying a couple more days....
We will have our own letterbox soon....😂😂😂😂📮📭📬
We had to take a trip into Denham to the doctor as Ed was out of one of his pills ( the specialist had not given him a repeat script)
Denham is about 28klm up the road through some beautiful scenery and a lot of very expensive horse stud farms.
The homes were unbelievable... they were gated, and even had their own security gatekeepers!!
Ed said the horses must be worth a lot of money! I had never seen such gorgeous homes!!
So the town of Denham was small with more lovely presented shops.
We had a yummy coffee here....
And these next photos were of the Doctors surgery..
And this was her house....apparently she was telling us that there is a law in that area where the doctor must live on the premises of their surgery.
They are two ‘kit homes’ that she had built. They were so pretty inside...
We were talking to her for ages about her house and her gardens that she did herself from scratch.
She had horses in the paddock next door 🐴🐴 A Country Practice 🐝🐝🐣
So that was our day.....a lovely day

❤️❤️❤️ JUST AS A LITTLE SIDE NOTE..... when I say ‘freebie’...
there is usually a donation box where they ask that you place money into....and that goes towards the upkeep of the great places that are provided for us.
It all helps to go toward these small towns.... and sometimes they ask that you put in your receipts.....(from shopping or fuel etc) that you’ve spent in the town and that also helps these struggling towns that would otherwise close their doors.
