CASTERTON REVISITED
This is the second time we have been to this lovely town. It’s the home of the Kelpie Dog.
We are staying at a lovely little caravan park situated right next to the bowls club. Last time we were here, Mr Havachat, (Ed) was talking to a bloke and they ended up having a roll up game together.
Today.... Ed read the notice board at the bowls club and they have a mixed bowls day....yippee....a good day tomorrow !
And it’s so close!
The caravan park only has 25 sites, and there’s only 3 of us here which is nice.
We are spoilt with power & water..and lovely clean showers where I will be for a while!!
This is the caravan park...lovely & green. I had so much washing to do, so out came our little washing machine & was rapt to see there was an Aussie Hills Hoist to hang it all on ....love those washing lines....(I’m very easily pleased)
There’s a swimming pool over the road....
And a footy oval next door....look at that sky....
And a bit of corrugated iron sculpture down by the river..
This caravan park is run by volunteers and they come and clean twice a day so it’s spotless. And it’s only $25 @ night. Bargain!
