WOODSIES GEM SHOP

Went for a small drive out to visit Woodsies Gem Shop today which is about a couple of km out of Mildura . It’s the largest Gem and gift shop in Australia. It’s been around now for over 30 years and owned by the same family. 

I’m sure everyone here in Mildura has been to Woodsies at least once!

They have a lovely cafe & a maze for the kids out the back. 

We had a coffee and a couple of scones that were so huge we couldn’t eat them both. 

These photos are the inside of the shop and it’s been made to look like you’re in a cave....bit tacky...but they have some lovely gems & stones ...

A gorgeous glass sea horse caught my eye...so he just had to come home with me...not sure the colours in him are captured in the photo...but he is very handsome. 

So another lovely day had...
