CROYDEN
On the way out of Georgetown heading towards Croyden, there’s a nice little area that’s of historical significance..it’s called “The Chimney”
And Cumberland Dam.
What an oasis in the desert!
Stopped for a cuppa then kept going the 150 klm to Croyden.
The road was very narrow again and the kangaroos & cattle were plentiful on the road, but we made it safely.
What another little surprise packet. Just a very small outback town but very traveller friendly with lots to see.
The old pub.....
And the town has restored the police station and jail.....the court house where you can sit in the jury seats and listen to a very funny trial that actually took place back in the late 1800,s
And there’s many more places and photos but just can’t download them with limited internet.
But needless to say....we had a lovely time again.
Tomorrow we head to Karumba!
