(Backup) (Backup) CLIFTON DAY 3
Having a lovely relaxing time here at Clifton.
I thought we were in for a massive storm last night...it came over so black but thankfully we only got a bit of rain βοΈ thunder & lightning β before it moved on around us, and we woke this morning to a lovely sunny day ππ
We went for a drive to Nobby which was only about 8 Klm away. Itβs a small little βvillageβ really but quite pretty.
Thereβs really only the shop, pub of course, and a little park over the road from the shop where you can camp with power for $5 donation!
Thereβs a little railway station....
The railway station is also an information centre (unmanned) so while Ed read the local newspaper looking like he was waiting for a train πππ.... I found a box full of recent novels that were there for people to take..... so as there was a donation box for camping, I put some money in as a thanks for the books.
Back at Clifton and a walk down the street where the shops were, I came across this bottle tree.
Not sure if you can read that it was one of four remaining trees that was planted 100 years ago!!
It looks pretty at night as it has fairy lights through it too. π§ββοΈπ§ββοΈ
Oh I forgot!!!
While we were at Nobby.... the next town was Greenmount.....I got all excited....I miss our Greenmount Beach π
But this was all there was there!ππ

We have βcountry weekβ on here so thereβs all different things going on in the βvillageβ.
Tomorrow thereβs a country market happening and the old steam train π rolls in to the station, so we shall go for a walk in the morning and check it all out.
