DUARINGA
We left Rockhampton this morning, got off the busy Hume Highway and headed back west onto the Capricorn Highway.
It was a great feeling leaving the hustle and bustle of such a big town and wind our way over the hills and out west again.
We are now safely back in to the town of Duaringa, where we were about 3 weeks (or thereabouts) ago.
It's great to be back, and we spotted a really nice young guy that we saw way back at Emerald.
Actually I recognised his gorgeous little doggie before I saw the owner.
The doggie would come and visit us and sit outside our caravan door to say hello when we were parked at the botanical gardens. So cute.
We are about 120 Klm west of Rockhampton, in the middle of nowhere parked at a lovely oasis that has a designated WiFi station. You can sit out in the open, plug your phone in to charge, or just sit and connect to WiFi !!!
I will go over later for a walk and take a photo.
We have just done all our washing by hand, well Ed did as I can't ring it out, as we have the water to do it with.
We have a big white bucket....
And in that goes our washing liquid and fabric whitener (which you need out here in the dust) water...pop the lid on tight, put it in the car... and by the time you get to your next stopover ...the washing has been agitated in the bucket and ready to rinse!! 👍😊
So now our little van looks like a Chinese Laundry!!
Here's the WiFi station!
Great idea!!
❤️❤️❤️
