MITCHELL DAY 2
This is our last day at Mitchell before we head of tomorrow.
We went out to the Neil Turner Weir for a look as we know it’s a free camp.
What a lovely place it was. There would have to have been at least 60 vans out there, if not more.
We will definitely stay out there if we come back this way again as it was just the place we love to stop at for a few days.
The weir wasn’t flowing much, there was just a trickle, but I found this photo on line of what it looks like in flood.
What a difference!!
It was a lovely day today. It’s been very cold overnight as the skies have been so clear, but the temperature is about to warm up a bit now so we are looking forward to doing some free camping as that is what we are all set up to do.
We love having the freedom of just pulling up at a lovely spot by a river or in a small town without all the crowds and just donating back to that town.
Our caravan in the background. We’ve been spoilt with an ensuite site.
Take care ❤️❤️
