(Temporary Backup) (Temporary Backup) LEAVING TWEED HEADS 23.8.2020
After 5 long, sad, and frustrating months, we have finally left Tweed.
It’s just wonderful getting behind that wheel with our home on the back and turning out of the caravan park at last!
It was blowing a gale, but I didn’t care, we didn’t get pushed around too much.
Ed was watching the footy on the iPad as I drove, and Geelong won, so it was a quiet drive.
We were going in to Grafton Showgrounds but there were too many caravans in there, so we just kept driving and are now parked up at the Kempsey Showgrounds for a couple of days.
We will just stop here and wait for that freezing wind to ease, and check out the town. We have electricity and water hook up and lovely hot showers for $20@ night.
We just pulled up and the bloke next to us with his huge flash Motor home, came over and looked at our number plates and asked how we managed to “get out of Victoria....I’m staying away from you...(with a grin on his face)
Why do we have to explain ourselves? We are all Aussies?
Funny how karma comes back to bite you on the bum though!
Ed was outside setting up our Satellite dish when he came over and said,
You won’t be able to get a signal.....just as Ed got a great signal on his satellite finder!
So there’s a 700 thousand dollar bus, that he’s had for a month, and his tv and satellite don’t work! This Victorians tv works fine.
Rude man! 🤬
Since this Covid ......people’s nasty side has really shone through.
XXXXX
