JOURNAL 8TH AUGUST 2020

Had another nice day today. 

Dropped Ed off at bowls and was asked by Mark if I would like to come and watch a game of Aussie Rules Footy.

I think I must of looked at him like he’d grown another head...as there’s no way I even like footy, let alone watch a game!

But he did explain that he was umpiring this particular game, and that both Byron and Noah will be at each end of the ground as goal umpires. 

He was as proud as punch as he’d never “walked out” onto a football ground with his two sons before.

The footy oval was at Pottsville...about 30 minutes away from Tweed. 

(It’s a lovely small coastal village where we have stayed in the caravan before.)

It was a lovely day and I had a lovely drive out there as you go out through the cane fields and the views to mountains are very pretty. 

So here they are....

  Byron, Mark & Noah. 

They have grown into lovely men.
