A DRIVE FROM TAILEM BEND

Lovely day today so went for a drive around the area and ended up at Wellington....but first we had to cross the Murray River to get to it.

So waited in line for the free ferry....

Because we were second in line, we got a front row seat....

What a lovely way to enjoy the beautiful Murray...sit back and enjoy your surroundings....



We had a huge semi behind us...

Got off and just decided to stay in the car and drive around. It’s all dairy over this way....so thought it would probably smell better in the car...   ;)

We then went through another dairy town called Jervious...found another ferry....and crossed back over the Murray and back to Tailem Bend.

Didn’t get front row...but the ferryman was all set to take off and spotted us coming around the bend....so opened the gates and waited for us...which was really nice of him. 

There was also a bike rider crossing the river .....it was a lovely morning spent driving.
