COOKTOWN Part 3

This afternoon there was a small break in the weather so as we were going stir crazy in the van, got into the car and headed down to the waterfront. 

It was quite deserted for a weekend, which was nice for us, so went for a walk and breathed in that beautiful sea air.

This picture tells the story of the gold rush.

And these next pics were taken just before the next downpour but I thought it was just so wild & pretty. It was still quite warm with 98% humidity. Perfect!

Hope we see a bit more sun tomorrow..... I can’t get my washing dry !!! :)
