BOTANICAL GARDENS CAIRNS.

Had a lovely morning walking around the gardens. There was a beautiful conservatory with butterflies and orchids that Dad would have loved. 

This flower comes from a tree called Barringtonia Asiatica.

Or Fish Poison Tree (I was told that it’s not poisonous) 

Or Freshwater Mangrove ( but it’s not really a mangrove) !!!!!

Doesn’t matter what it’s called.... it’s a spectacular flower.🌺🌸🌼🌻🥀
