Today we went for a drive to Esk. It's only a small town of about 1800 people, and I think I've mention we have been here before. We needed diesel and a few supplies and its only up the road, plus we wanted to go into the tourist info place to check on the road conditions from Esk to Crows Nest. 

The helpful lady said it was a good road and ok for us towing a caravan and the last couple of kilometres was a bit of a winding road......so all good. Not sure if we will go that way tomorrow or Sunday! 

The little town of Esk has had a bit of 'yarn bombing' happening! 

It looks really pretty! There was so much of it! 

Found a lovely Queenslander that I would love to have but the Catholic Church beat me too it ! 😞

When we got back to Toolgoolwah Showgrounds the caretaker told Ed there was a bowls club in the town......well.....

It was deserted much to someone's disgust! ... Maybe try tomorrow .....??

So back to our little home away from home after a great day out..
