ON THE ROAD AGAIN……TOOGOOLAWAH

At last we are back on the road where we belong. We left Tweed just after lunch, headed North up the highway towards Brisbane, turned west towards Ipswich, and headed towards the Somerset region and have parked up at freebie camp just off the road. 

We went into town first, to the campground in town, but all the Queenslanders have taken the spots….how rude 😉

It wasn’t a nice spot anyway as they are jammed in like sardines so this spot along the Brisbane Rail Trail will do us as there’s just us and one other camper down the road. 

There’s a lovely walk way along the rail trail into the town which we will do tomorrow.

And a lovely bridge where you can see the flooding that occurred around here as well. 

So that’s the first of many days back on the road travelling again.
