We’ve just spent the last couple of days in this lovely small town……its one of our favourite stops.

Again, another freebie supplied by the local council who come around at 4pm every night to make sure you are settled in ok. They also make sure you are Q Coded in (for Covid) so you can be contacted if needed.

We are camped right on the lovely lake with a few others, but not overcrowded.

There are plenty of walks, to do around the lake, and just over the small bridge is the town centre. It’s got everything thats needed, including some lovely bakeries, with a great choice of cakes and pastries….(hence the long walks)

At night, the pathways are all lit up with solar lighting, its so pretty and very safe as there are families out doing the same thing as the weather is so nice and warm.

The trees in the park have lights through them that twinkle and make such a pretty show……I tried to take a photo but just couldn’t get the effects..

So tomorrow we are off again, not sure where too yet, will look at the map tonight and decide.

Just on a side note…..Byron has his car back.

Mark rang me not long ago to say that a lady had read about it in the local paper.

She remembered Byron as he had done her a favour by washing her car when she had it fixed by him where he works.

So she came into his workplace and said that his car had been parked in her underground car park space for a few days, and until she read the paper, just thought someone had a visitor and had used her parking spot.

Just goes to show that you can make a difference in someone’s life if you do them a good turn. Now she was able to return that favour by telling him where his stolen car was. 

To say he his absolutely thrilled, as is all the family, is an understatement.

There is a bit of damage, but nothing Byron cant fix.

He’s been doing that car up for 5 years, and put a lot of time and money in to that car….on an apprentice wage ……so a big labour of love for him…..and to have it back home…..is just the best.

Ed and I are so happy for him.
