WOOLGOOLGA

We went for a drive from the rest stop into Woolgoolga as we’ve heard it was a lovely spot on the coast.
To be fair...the weather was terrible...which added nothing to the appeal of the place... but could imagine in the summer months it would be nice.

It’s just a small seaside town that is now bypassed with the completion of the main highway.

There was a small market happening but being that the wind was howling and it was so boggy from the rain.... we didn’t stay long.

But driving in we spotted a lot of kangaroos munching on the green grass of people’s homes..

The market wasn’t very big because of the weather but they were selling local produce and selling the old ‘snag & onions’ while a three piece band were doing their best to sing in the rain without getting electrocuted 🙄

The seagulls were the only ones dipping their toes!!

So went back to our rest stop after getting a few necessities from their local woolies supermarket.

It poured for the rest of the day so watched a movie & read my book... as well as watching people still filling up their water tanks from the dump 💩 tap.....ewww ...  people !!!!
