INGHAM QLD
Stopped at Ingham as we’ve always just driven straight through the town.
We found a great little camp for $10 behind the information centre just before the town centre.
It’s not a huge town, but just big enough to have everything you need re shopping etc... and just enough to be able to walk around.
It’s a lovely town and the shire council have done a terrific job to keep it very pretty.
Behind the info centre is a raised walkway as there is a lot of nature wetlands to walk.
We just went on the raised walkway as the gardener said there was a crocodile spotted out the back of the wetlands.
There’s an observation tower you climb (84 steps to be exact)and you can see for miles!!!
Along the walkway you can buy turtle food to feed the many turtles that live in the ponds.
All those little black dots are their heads....it was so funny watching them all charge towards you for food.
And yes! We did put a lock on the fence❤️
There was a cyclone forming up north but luckily it’s just turned into a low which means lots of rain.
That’s ok.... it’s still very warm!!!😊👍❤️
