JERRYS PLAINS

We are now at a β€˜freebie’ camp after travelling about 70klm ....(big day πŸ˜‚)

Google describes it as a β€˜now you see it...now you don’t’ sort of townπŸ˜‚πŸ‘€
We are about 200 Klm from Sydney, in the Hunter Valley wine area πŸ§€πŸ§€πŸ·πŸ·πŸ·

The camp spot is a nice open space in a tiny town that has a fuel stop, tavern and a big vet!! πŸ„πŸ“πŸ·πŸΆπŸ΄πŸ–πŸ•
We have no power here but it’s not needed.

Apparently there are a few historic  buildings that have been listed with the National Trust....so a walk tomorrow to find them will be nice as it’s raining β˜”οΈ

So what to do on a rainy day??

Cooking naughty stuff of course!!!
What else???? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Had a look in the cupboard and found some bits and pieces and came up with these little delicious
parcels of rainy day delights!!

I did find a packet of this...

So sprinkled it on top to β€˜make believe’ they were healthy muffins.....πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜Š

DAY 2

It was a lovely day today.

We went for a walk from the campground and found a few old buildings dating back to the late 1800’s

This gothic looking old church was made from sandstone

At some of these old towns they have a free library service...

This one is in our campground made from an old fridge...

Great idea!!!

We are staying a couple more days here....and so are s lot of other people.
The school holidays have started so we have a couple of kids camping here.
There’s plenty to do as there’s a playground and tennis court for them and lots of room to run around!!
